Jess & Matt

Jess & Matt’s wedding day was the best day of their lives surrounded by all of their most loving and supportive friends and family. With so many special people in their lives choosing their bridal party could have been a tall order.
Matt, of course, asked his brother to be his best man, Jess describes them as having a bond like no other. As for Jess’s maid of honour, she asked her best friend of 10 years, someone she classifies as a sister. The rest of their bridal party was made up of some of their closest friends. In fact Jess had caught the bouquet at two of her bridesmaids weddings, one of which was just two days before Matt proposed, the wedding of another beautiful Clementine and Rose couple!

Jess and Matt started talking about getting married a year and a half into their relationship. After moving in together and celebrating that milestone with their families they started talking about spending the rest of their lives together and they couldn’t wait to get married. Jess being so excited by that prospect started researching venues right away. The first venue that they both loved was the beautiful Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, although neither of them had ever been. Five years later and newly engaged, Jess asked Matt “where would you like to get married?” his reply fo course “What do you mean? We’re getting married at Watsons”

Jess will never forget the moment she was walking down the aisle with her brother and she saw Matt’s face, with a joint gasp of “wwoooooooww” she felt more beautiful than ever before and she couldn’t wait to get down the aisle to marry him.

“I know I’m the luckiest woman”

Jess has always been a Hanson fan (what girl growing up in the 1990’s isn’t?). During his speech, Matt started reading the lyrics to”mmm bob” and relating them back to their marriage, Jess burst into tears and laughter and thought to herself “I know I’m the luckiest woman”
